Ain't no mountain high
There are certain parts of our world that are guaranteed to make your jaw drop. The Grand Canyon was one of those for me. After finally booking a trip out to see it, back in 2015, I was worried that it wasn't going to live up to the hype. Let's just say the hype is there for a reason.
Hiking is hands-down one of my favourite activities. As much as I love the beach (see yesterday's post...), I could happily spend days trudging through forests and up mountains. I've heard Canada has more than its fair share of pristine forests to see - Lake Louise below is definitely on my list.
Which would you choose, a day hiking up forested mountains or a day lazing on the beach? And aren't we ridiculously lucky that our planet offers up both options?
